Dr. Yanlin Zhao from the University of Science and Technology Beijing has been awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers. She will join the Institute for Risk and Reliability for developing efficiency and robustness digital twin technology for coping with multiple sources and mixed types of severe uncertainties. Specifically, she will be working on advanced methods for integrating interval-based uncertainty quantification with stochastic model updating.
