Best Paper Awards - APSSRA 2020

The Institute for Risk and Reliability is pleased to announce three winnings of the Student Paper Award at the 7th Asian-Pacific Symposium on Structural Reliability and Its Applications 2020. M.Sc. Marius Bittner, PhD student at our insitute, won a Student Paper Award for his work entitled “Reliability Estimation of Rare Events for Stochastic Dynamic Systems Excited by Stationary Stochastic Processes”. Also awarded were M.Sc. Marco Daub from the Technical University of Munich for his paper “Engineering Analysis with Imprecise Probabilities: A State-of-the-Art Review on P-Boxes” as well as M.Sc. Sebastian Kruse, who graduated with Master of Science at our institute and is now located at the University of Liverpool, for his paper “Bayesian Compressive Sensing Based Evolutionary Power Spectrum Estimation for Incomplete Process Record”.
