Humbold Research Fellow: Dr. Konstantin Zuev

Dr. Konstantin Zuev, a leading researcher in the areas of rare events analysis, network science and quantitative finance from California Institute of Technology, has been awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers. He will join the Institute for Risk and Reliability, Leibniz Universität Hannover, to collaborate with our team on a novel access to reliability analysis by harnessing recent advances in statistical, information and data sciences. We are aiming for an increase of numerical efficiency of sampling-based rare events analysis by a magnitude which enables a fast reliability assessment of very large infrastructure systems.
