Dr. Zifeng Huang from Hong Kong Polytechnic University has been awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers. He will join the Institute for Risk and Reliability for developing advanced stochastic models and methods for a dynamical analysis of structures under non-stationary loads based on new formulations of frequency spectra.
