On 23 August 2023, Chao Dang, M. Sc., successfully completed his doctorate. He first presented his research results on the topic of "Forward Uncertainty Quantification with Special Emphasis on a Bayesian Active Learning Perspective" in a doctoral lecture, after which he faced the questions of the examination board in a one-hour examination.
