The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy is delighted for Dr. techn. Matteo Broggi: The Deputy Head of the Institute for Risk and Reliability won one of the highly prestigious IASSAR Early Achievement Awards from the International Association for Structural Safety and Reliability (IASSAR) on June 4, 2025.
With this award, Matteo Broggi is one of the best young scientists in his field, this year as the only European winner. Only 3 to 4 IASSAR Early Achievement Awards are presented every four years, in a worldwide competition. Matteo Broggi has been researching and teaching at the Institute for Risk and Reliability since 2016, following positions at the Politecnico di Milano, the University of Innsbruck and the University of Liverpool.
